 Focal length
What are the focal length options? 18, 24, 35 and 55 in millimetres.
What different effects can you create? you can zoom in depending of how close or far the subject is away from the camera
Can you think of a narrative scenario where you might choose a short vs a long one? When you're focusing on a person's mood or capturing their facial expression and when you want to see a wide shot of somebody's actions or seeing what they're doing

3.        Aperture
What are the options? 4.5, 5, 5.6, 6.3, 7.1,8,9,10,11,13,14,16,18,20,22,25 and 29
How do you reach them? you click on AV and change the dial on the aperture button on the menu
Why would you choose one of the other? depending on the lighting

 Which is best for showing the speed of an object? the best shutter speed to show the speed of an object is 1/125
Which is best for capturing a fast moving object in perfect stillness? The best option is 1/4000

5.    ISO
Which is best for blowing the image up very large?
100 ISO
Which is best for very low light?
3200 ISO
Which is best for very low light where the detail of the image is important, and you want to blow it up large?
400 ISO




    White balance
How do you change the white balance? On the camera you press the bottom WB button and then it comes up with many white balance changes that you can select to change the look on the photo depending on the lighting/weather outiside.
Why would you? This helps get the best possible picture depending on the lighting. If it was dark and you set the white balance to daylight, it would have really bad lighting.
