Rule of thirds (Framing)
Needing space in front so others are able to see what they're doing.
This is useful because it stands out the object/student in the centre and makes the viewers focus on what's most significant. A good time to use this skill is when you're focusing on a character. Giving enough space in front of the student/person would improve the photo and give it detail from every aspect. Using flash on your camera would also be another useful tip for this skill.
Rule of central framing: getting the main subject in the middle, likely having an emotion or a certain facial expression depending on the mood.
Other rules of framing include splitting the horizon, shooting lots of foreground or more background in the picture. Not getting the split of horizon in the middle of the photo. A good time to use splitting the horizon is with a sunset or a good split of the sky.
